Our Shaklee story started in 2001 when I was searching for quality vitamins that could help our children stay healthy. Today we have found that sharing health, hope and a business opportunity is a great way to make a living! We often think how different our lives would be if someone hadn’t taken the time to share the gift of Shaklee with us. Before Shaklee we were frequently sick. Having four kids in our family we often shared the same “bugs” over and over. Finding Shaklee meant having stronger immune systems and less chemicals in our home, and it provided a way for me to stay home and be a full time mom while earning an awesome income!
Our business has offered us college funds, retirement, wonderful travel and a free car! We have been to the Bahamas, Mexico, the Carribbean Islands and Kenya! And we love to help people achieve their dreams in Shaklee!

I started Purple Palm Vacations in 2011 because after many years of traveling (including 3 continents, 18 countries, 100 cities and counting), I decided to make a career out of doing something that I love. My passion is to see the world and to help others do the same. You can read about my exciting world travels in my blog, TravelingTravelAgent.com. I am a mother of one sweet 11 year old son and I am delighted to be able to pass along my love of travel to him.
Many life changes have lead me to where I am now. I’ve worked in the printing, high tech publishing, and mortgage industries, I’ve owned and managed several small businesses, and I’ve volunteered for a variety of organizations. Along my varied and interesting career path I discovered a love of and talent for helping people and businesses connect with each other.
I also love helping people with their insurance protection. My mission is to understand my clients’ risks and provide them with great coverage so they feel safe, secure, and protected. My ideal clients are folks with acreage property, generally 1-10 acres. If people have property with a barn or a workshop they have special coverage needs.
I have a passion for working with women who are going through changes and transitions in their lives. I work with a team of people (mortgage lender, Realtor, financial advisor, CPA) to help guide our mutual clients to a place of security and peace.
Cara is a Financial Advisor with Raymond James. She started working at Raymond James Financial Services, Inc. in 2009 as a Registered Sales Assistant and eventually decided to take the plunge to become a Financial Advisor.
Prior to being an advisor, Cara developed relationships with numerous clients of the branch and helped them with the administration of their accounts. She at that time realized that she wanted to be more involved with the planning and investment process and began her transition to a Financial Advisor.
Prior to working at Raymond James, Cara worked for 10 years at Invesco Funds, where she was a supervisor in the Client Services department. She has always been interested in developing relationships with people and has found jobs throughout her career that will allow her to so.
Cara received her Bachelor of Science in Business Administration at Regis University in 2003. She holds Series 7, Series 66 and Series 26 FINRA licenses and Colorado Life and Health license. When Cara is not in the office, she is the mom to two wonderful children who keep her busy with many activities, including dance and gymnastics. She makes her home in Parker, Colorado where she enjoys binging on Netflix, cooking and spending time with her family.

I have had a private practice since 2010 and my specialty areas include eating disorders, body image, and issues related to identity and self-esteem. I thrive in supporting my clients find a peaceful and accepting relationship with their bodies, food, and themselves. I volunteer with The Eating Disorder Foundation and facilitate support groups and workshops.
